Coriolus versicolor(Trametes versicolor, Yun Zhi, Kawaratake) is a common polypore mushroom,also known as the “turkey tail” as its shape and multiple colors are similar to those of a wild turkey. Coriolus versicolor contains several saccharides including polysaccharide peptide(PSP) and polysaccharide-K.The protein bound polysaccharides have been found to be immune-modulating and anti-tumor.
